IHRE APOTHEKER comply with the stringent GMP requirements applicable in Europe for the production of intravenous antibiotics. Our antibiotics therapies can also be used in the out-patient sector and are individually co-ordinated to the requirements of each patient. Unnecessary hospitalisation can thereby be avoided.
Out-patient infusion therapies raise the question of a suitable pump system for the patient, the requisite accessories and not least the therapy co-ordinated individually, and medication produced. Moreover, the processes involving the patient's environment, hospital, doctor, nursing service and pharmacy also need to be co-ordinated for which we have established our own nursing standards.
Often administered several times a day, intravenous antibiotics demand perfect patient compliance. A specialist nurse represents IHRE APOTHEKER in an initial discussion with the patient and explains the basic principles for an antibiotics therapy without any complications.
On discharge from hospital, the prescriber can rest assured that we will provide his/her patient with support as we handle initial instruction, delivery cycles depending on the chemical and physical stability of preparations, cost estimates for accessories and any pharmaceutical queries the patient may have. We thereby relieve the out-patient services and clarify any irregularities with the doctor in an emergency. We offer a 24-hour emergency service.
Our intravenous antibiotics are individually tailored to the requirements of each patient. Out-patient infusions therefore increase the quality of life of people with chronic or long-term illnesses such as cystic fibrosis, for example. We handle case management in the out-patient sector where we optimise the supply process for the patient with the aim of safeguarding high-quality pharmaceutical and economical supply wherever possible.
